KOA!
Founded
on September 27, 1967, Monroe County KOA (Kampgrounds
of America) has been serving Northern Ohio and Southern
Michigan with experienced, helpful, and friendly service
for nearly 38 years.
Monroe
KOA is located in Southern Michigan, only nine miles north
of the Ohio line on U.S. 23 at Summerfield Road, Exit
9 (Petersburg), and is only about 20 minutes away from
Toledo or one hour from most of the Detroit suburbs. Monroe
KOA features over 200 campsites spread across a landscape
with maple, oak, and pine trees, as well as two lakes,
and a plethora of fun activities. In addition to camping
sites, our campground also offers one and two room Kamping
Kabins, as well as full-sized rental trailers, pop-up
rental trailers, a tree house, and Sweet Suite.
At
Monroe KOA, we offer a safe environment for families and
children. The entrance is equipped with a gated guard
shack, and KOA security is on regular patrols during the
summer season. We strive for a peaceful atmosphere and
work hard to make sure your experience is a most pleasant
one!
