Q & A Grab Bag for 6/21 Posted by: Trevor
Happy
Summer Solstice! Today's questions:
Q) When I reserve online, will I know
right away if it went through? A) Yes, our Online Reservations are done in real-time,
so you will be actively making your reservation, not just
making a request.
Q) Do you have wireless Internet or a
Data Port? A) We have both. The Data Port is in the front laundry
room, and the wireless Internet broadcasts near the store.
There is no charge for either service. Please keep in mind
that the wireless service is on a limited availability. IE:
not every site will be able to reach the service, and there
may be downtime due to weather conditions, maintenence, etc.
Q) What do I have to do to get the free
waterslide? A) Just stay with us Sunday through Thursday, and you will
be eligible for free waterslide passes for all registered
campers on your site. The passes apply for the night you stay.
For example, if you stayed Sunday night, you would get the
passes for Sunday.
Don't forget, Monroe KOA hosts an annual fireworks show
on the Fourth of July!

Introducing the Grab Bag! Posted by: Trevor
Starting
today, and continuing every two weeks, a handful of frequently asked
questions will be given face time here on the front page. Today's
group:
Q) Do I have to be a member of KOA to reserve
and/or stay? A) Monroe KOA is open to the public - all are welcome! There
is no membership, aside from our KOA Value Kard, which provides
a discount on camping fees, among other benefits.
Q) Can I reserve now, and pay the deposit later? A) Since we have a finite number of sites, and tend to book up
rather quickly during the summer weekends, we cannot allow a reservation
without a deposit.
Q) I'm not quite sure on what site I'd like
to reserve. Could I come to the grounds and take a look around? A) Absolutely! During normal business hours, guests are welcome
to come in and select a site for an upcoming stay. There is no charge
for visits less than a half-hour in length.
Q) If I have a guest come to visit my site,
and they decide they would like to stay the night, how much extra
will they have to pay? A) To upgrade an existing guest pass to an overnight pass is
just $5.00. The upgrade may be purchased at the Store during regular
hours.
Be sure to check back on Tuesdays for the next run of Q & A!
Also
please make note that we are currently on Summer Season hours.

before you reserve. Remember, there are two policies - one for
weekday stays, and one for weekends & special events.
